On September 9th and 10th, I attended the Chief Science Officer Leadership Training Institute via Zoom! When I arrived, I was unsure about my action plan, but things changed after meeting Kelly and her wonderful team.
I was excited to brainstorm my ideas for my Action Plan with other CSOs. This year, I plan to bring in a couple guest speakers, and make seasonal videos! With this plan and support from others, I know I can make an impact in my community.
After attending the training, I have a better understanding of what being a CSO means and what it takes to have leadership and responsibility. I feel excited and I am looking forward to working with my team this year!
