As the first region of CSOs, the goal is to increase student voice in STEM conversations and create a global network of diverse STEM leaders across the Arizona SciTech STEM Ecosystem through collaboration with Hub Coordinators.
Broadcom Foundation has officially launched the first cabinet of Chief Science Officers in Orange County. Over the next year, the goal is to extend the network statewide.
CSOs have launched in Bogotá and Montería with plans to expand with CONASTEM. El Colectivo Nacional de Educación STEM (CONASTEM) está conformado por un grupo de líderes en educación cuyo objetivo es promover y divulgar la innovación educativa en Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas.

In collaboration with SciTech Institute, NASEF has launched a Cabinet of online CSOs participating in Esports across the globe.
With support from STEM2Hub, CSOs are now active around Jacksonville and in Broward County!
In collaboration with Science ATL, Chief Science Officers are located in Atlanta!
Currently, in Honolulu but interested schools and students can sign up to launch in 2023-24!
Exciting state wide roll out in 2022 with three cabinets of Chief Science Officers supported by Idaho STEM Action Center across the Idaho EcosySTEM hubs.
The initial cabinet is sponsored by Avnet and will launch in Chicago this coming year!

After being invited to train in Arizona, Kenya CSOs are motivated to expand the opportunities in STEM to all students in Nairobi and beyond!
Kuwait CSOs have been disconnected since the pandemic, but a plan to relaunch the program is scheduled for summer 2023.

Michigan CSOs have expanded from Saginaw Valley State University to include Central Michigan University. Goals to expand are in the works!
We are looking to reconnect and have discussions to relaunch in Western New York and other locations across the state.
Originally launched by an 8th grader and included 5 friends to train officially with the hopes of having a state wide program in North Carolina. Now, in collaboration with NC East STEM Ecosystem we will be looking to add Chief Science Officers this year.
Across the state with the support of STEM Ecosystem Hubs, Oregon CSOs from rural areas to remote areas are making a difference by increasing STEM awareness.
PA CSOs are going STATEWIDE! This year, we will host over 20 Cabinets in the state with support from PDE in 9 geographical regions based on Intermediate Units in Pennsylvania.

Launched in 2022-23 with the Utah STEM Action Center in Salt Lake City! Together, CSOs of the International Leadership Council pitched the program and created interest in Utah to #MakeItHappen this year.
