Phoenix, AZ — SciTech Institute is pleased to announce it has been awarded a significant grant of $10,000 from Thunderbirds Charities to further its mission of promoting diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education in Arizona through its Chief Science Officers (CSO) program.

The generous funding provided by Thunderbirds Charities will enable the CSO program to implement strategic initiatives aimed at increasing access and opportunities for underrepresented students in STEM. This grant aligns with SciTech’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of our communities throughout the state.

“We are thrilled to receive this support from Thunderbirds Charities,” said Dr. Jeremy Babendure, the Executive Director of SciTech Institute. “This funding will be instrumental in creating programs and initiatives that not only encourage underrepresented individuals to pursue STEM careers but also provide the necessary resources and support to help them succeed.”
