Alhambra Board Meeting

Two weeks ago at the Alhambra Governing Board meeting, CSOs Aime and Alina were recognized by Viasat’s Omar Alam for performing their duties as Chief Science Officers.

“[CSOs Aime and Alina] had the opportunity to travel to Orange County last November and present in front of global STEM education leaders. The CSO program prepared them well to speak publicly in front of key stakeholders; to engage in, and contribute to, discussions about how to improve STEM learning in regional ecosystems – ecosystems that include educators, policymakers, nonprofits, and high-tech businesses” Omar says.

The Chief Science Officer program is one that prepares students like Aime and Alina to be recognized by high-tech businesses like Viasat. Here are some photos of the event!
