Inspiration:
This is a tricky one. What inspires me? When I was younger, I would often describe events of grandeur. People saving others, winning great awards, or making huge change! Now, don’t get me wrong, those people still inspire me. But, as I got older, I learned about something more inspirational. It’s hidden in our daily lives, and I’m not sure what the exact word is to describe it. Those quiet nights I spend in prayer with God, sleeping in a van after thirty minutes of karaoke with new friends, hearing the chit-chatter of my peers after a fun night at the Talent Show. That inspires me. It inspires me to keep moving forward and making change for a better world: a world with more of those moments. Well, after writing that paragraph, I think I know how to define what inspires me: gifts from God. Moments I will treasure. Those inspire me.
