Taking Flight 2019 is a family-oriented event that focuses on bringing Remote Controlled aviation
enthusiasts, and those who might be interested in RC airplane flying, together for two days of fun-filled learning and adventure based on STEM activities.
Taking Flight 2019 includes activities for pilots and spectators of all ages & levels of ability! Activities include
family-centered build activities held in the build area, flight simulators and a host of entertainment for
everyone. Pilots can scratch build a flyer with the help of RC experts at the event, fly their FPV wings and
quads, join the combats, and socialize with other hobbyists and members of the RC community.
Open Fly all day except during scheduled events
Instructor lead “Chuck Glider Builds” for young kids (free)
Instructor lead “Tiny Trainer Builds” for any age ($40.00 fee), 20 builders per session
