“My interest in STEM and robotics started when I was very young, fortunately having the influence of two engineers as parents. As I grew up robotics was a big part of my life and morphed into sharing, connecting, and communicating my passion for STEM to everyone around me.”

Accomplishments:

Along with serving as the captain of our High School Vex robotics team, I am the co-founder of a nonprofit called Education Empowers, whose goal is to share our passion for STEM to the community as well as to give STEM and robotics opportunities to the community children who don’t have access to such.

With mentoring the community’s children in robotics, I also spent a lot of time volunteering in the community through STEM. Through the CSO program, I have had the opportunity to serve as a member of the Governor’s STEM Council. Through this position I can promote STEM education throughout Arizona.  I was also selected for the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence!
