CSOs in Action – As STEM Ambassadors, Chief Science Officers serve their school, community, and convene to provide state level leadership. CSOs promote existing STEM programs and advocate future opportunities on behalf of their schools. Elected CSOs attend a Fall and/or Summer Institute and meet bi-annually as a statewide cabinet.

CSOs i1n Action in their Community

CSOs go into their community to build partnerships and advocate for future opportunities for their schools with local businesses and legislatures. CSOs  participate in important state level workforce conversations related to STEM and education.

2CSOs in Action at their Campus

CSOs serve as the “STEM voice” for their student body, identifying opportunities for their schools such as STEM programs, speakers, workshops, field trips, science nights, and clubs to ensure such experiences reflect interests of their peers.
